Good Gracie
SOOOOOOO, do you get the sense that she's making herself right at home?
I have been noticeably absent from the blogosphere lately due entirely to this tiny little bag of fur. How is it that someone so small can create such havoc and consume such vast amounts of my time?
She's an absolute dollcake when she's not pooping on the other dog's bed or peeing a teaspoon's worth in every corner and crevice every ten seconds. Like most labs, she, apparently LIVES TO EAT! And so, she fits right in to our family. The eating and the sleeping - very important. The first night here she woke up at 3 am and howled and cried until I got up and played with her for an hour. Actually it was more like I sat there in a stupor and made funny noises while she ran around and pounced on anything she could find.
Last night she slept all night from 9 p.m. until 7:00 a.m. If only my children had been like this!
When I'm not cleaning up her little puddles and puddings, I'm staring at her lovingly or swaddling her up in little pink blankets and cooing at her. It's all a little overboard and I'll just admit that. I love her. So so much.
If my husband wouldn't loathe me entirely, I would put her in the bed with me at night. And, yes, I recognize that qualifies me for some serious therapy. And I don't care.

Okay Anne, when are you going to compile all this into the national best-selling TEXAS HOUSEWIVES???? Really enjoyed catching up with the Simonds, and tell William I am SO VERY PROUD of him. GREAT JOB! Gracie looks adorable. Take care! We miss you all but it sure looks like you all have found home! So we'll just have to come visit.......
